Challenge: This management group routinely buys and sells hotels, but faced an unusual challenge when acquiring dozens of hotels with disparate systems. Leadership needed assistance deciding which systems to use, how to standardize business processes, and how to properly analyze and consolidate all data being transferred during the acquisition. In particular, the group lacked automated reports to accurately reflect the data and processes involved in the acquisition of hotels.
Solution: Jaime took on a strategic consulting role to help the group acquire hotels while seamlessly migrating them to the same systems and aligning their business processes. She worked closely with the corporate team of the company, helping to manage the onboarding of over 60 new hotels to the group. Jaime also developed customized reporting for this client, which enabled leadership to see on-demand data reports of all hotels in the collection in a standardized presentation. This created a stable, clear process for viewing all data transfers throughout the acquisition, and preventing the spread of inaccurate data as the merger was ongoing.
Impact: As a result of working with Jaime, this management group now has over 60 hotels with completely standardized sales systems and business processes—all with reliable data. Customized reports have resulted in the ability to do above-property selling since workflows and information are consistent across all hotels in the group.
